A new clip from the live-action version of Disney's much-anticipated film Lilo & Stitch was recently released, in which fans noticed a small but funny inconsistency. The clip shows Lilo (Maya Kealoha), her older sister Nani (Sydney Agudong), and the mischievous alien Stitch.

In the scene, Nani arrives at her work and immediately puts Stitch in a baby seat to restrain him. But fans immediately noticed one particular moment—when Maya Kealoha, who plays Lilo, is seen pointing to the ground behind Stitch.

It seems that Kealoha was pointing to the spot where a stand-in or marker for Stitch was present on set. However, in the final CGI version, Stitch appears slightly ahead of that marker, which some sharp-eyed fans immediately caught. The little glitch sparked a buzz on social media, with fans calling it a fun glimpse into the film's production.

This live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch is set to release in theaters on May 23, 2025. The film features an impressive cast, including Maya Kealoha as Lilo, Sydney Agudong as Nani, Capo Dudoit as David, Tia Carrere as Mrs. Kekoa, Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles, Amy Hill as Tutu, and Jason Scott Lee as the luau manager.

The voice cast includes Chris Sanders returning as the voice of Stitch, along with Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba and Billy Magnussen as Agent Pleakley.

The film is a remake of the 2002 animated classic, which fans love for its humorous and emotional story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and a runaway alien. The film's synopsis describes it as a "touching story of an alien and a girl helping to mend a broken family."

The screenplay is written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright, while the original film's co-writer and director Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois are also attached to the project. Sanders, best known for voicing Stitch, has contributed to the original film as well as several of its spin-offs.
