Hollywood action star Jason Momoa is once again in the headlines, and this time he is excited about his new role in the DC Universe (DCU). Momoa has been cast as the dangerous and rebellious space biker Lobo in the upcoming film Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
On the sets of the film, he has not only completely immersed himself in his character, but he has also requested everyone to call him "Lobo" instead of his real name. The film is set to release in 2026 and is directed by the talented Craig Gillespie. Millie Alock will be seen in the lead role as Supergirl.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Momoa revealed that he is about "halfway" shooting his scenes for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. He shared this experience during a conversation with his upcoming film Minecraft co-star Jack Black.
Momoa laughed and said, "This is the first time I asked everyone to call me by my character's name." Then, getting into character in his typical style, he joked at Black, "Lobo has to take a deuce."
Momoa's enthusiasm for Lobo is evident. He further said, "I think I'm the right person to play this role. If we're going to typecast me in anything, put me in Lobo. Motorcycles, smoking cigars, partying, dreadlocks—it all fits me perfectly." His statement not only reflects his confidence, but is also increasing the curiosity about this character among the fans.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow's premise and star cast
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is based on the DC Comics miniseries launched in 2021 by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. The film will depict an emotional and exciting journey of Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl. According to the story, Kara has seen her planet Krypton destroyed and was sent to Earth to protect her younger cousin Superman.

Matthias Schoenaerts will be seen in the role of Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthie Marie Noll, David Krumholtz as Zor-El and Emily Beecham as Supergirl's mother.
